Popular Women's Shoe Brands @ Amazon.com

I'm no expert on women's shoes, but I do know that most people are surprised by the variety of brands that Amazon.com has to offer. It's far easier to find the few "featured" brands that appear on Amazon's first-listed pages than to "drill down" through them, then search using brand names as keywords -- as I've done here. Given that fashion-conscious shoppers are often looking for something a little different from what "eveyone" is wearing it's surprising that Amazon doesn't feature some of these brands more prominently.

I also know that brand preference is a highly personal thing. The variables of fit, style, quality, and price to name a few will often lead to much different favorites than the overall trend. Also, if you are hesitant to buy shoes online, you should know that Amazon.com is very reliable when it comes to returning merchandise. In fact, I often sell two identical pairs of shoes in adjacent sizes, one of which is kept and the other returned. I wouldn't have though of that, but it is certainly worth considering if you are hard to fit.

Popular Miscellaneous Items @ Amazon.com

This is the one of a series of quick articles on popular products from Amazon.com. Of course, the most obvious measure of popularity is Amazon sales rank, the default listing order of Amazon's aStores. That order is already represented in the search engine listings, at least in theory. These items are ones that I have actually sold.

It's not entirely clear to me why Amazon.com's sales reporting software classified these items as "other," but it's much easier to treat them as a group than to add them piece-meal to other groups - and risk missing some - even though it's apparent that the category currently applies mostly to women's shoes.

The idea here is that these items are popular enough that someone would buy them, but not so popular that they are widely listed elsewhere. Though this approach may seem wildly random, it is very likely that if someone bought these before, someone else might want to buy them in the future. Perhaps they are just what you're looking for!
